Sanctuary States Quietly Sending Illegals WHERE?

Sanctuary states across America are quietly flooding communities with criminal illegals, according to a new study that shows more than 25,000 were released back into neighborhoods without alerting federal immigration officials. These are not harmless border crossers looking for work; these are individuals who were locked up for crimes, only to be let back onto the streets by radical sanctuary policies that defy federal law and common sense.

California, unsurprisingly, leads the pack with over 13,000 criminal illegals released without notifying ICE, according to the report from the Center for Immigration Studies. Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Virginia join California in this reckless disregard for public safety, with thousands more criminals freed into local communities. From October of last year through February, these states released over 22,000, with the total hitting more than 25,000 since 2023.

The worst offenders include the Santa Clara County Jail in California, which let more than 3,000 criminals walk free, the Cook County Jail in Chicago with over 1,000 released, and Fairfax County in Virginia with similar numbers. These are not victimless policy decisions; they are deliberate actions that put law-abiding families at risk while ignoring ICE detainers filed against these criminal aliens.

Trump’s border czar Tom Homan is not mincing words about what this means for everyday Americans. “We’re going to double down and triple down on sanctuary cities,” Homan said this week, making it clear the administration sees these sanctuary policies as a direct threat to public safety, not a matter of partisan politics. “They’re releasing public safety threats … to the streets every day,” he added.

The Trump administration’s aggressive stance comes amid rising public support for stricter immigration enforcement. A new Cygnal poll found that 70 percent of Americans believe being in the country illegally is a crime, and more than 60 percent believe those here illegally should be deported. Significantly, Hispanic voters are now 11 points more likely to support deportations than they were just two months ago, showing the momentum shifting against sanctuary policies even among the Democrats’ traditional voter base.

The study’s findings expose a stark reality: while sanctuary politicians posture about compassion, they are playing politics with your safety. These policies undermine law enforcement and insult the families who suffer the consequences when repeat offenders are released to offend again. And it’s not just property crimes; many of these illegal aliens were jailed for violent offenses, sexual crimes, and gang activity.

California’s record is particularly alarming, considering the state’s refusal to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement despite repeated requests from ICE. The Santa Clara County Jail’s decision to release more than 3,000 criminal illegals without notifying ICE shows just how deep the problem runs. Chicago’s Cook County and Virginia’s Fairfax County are not far behind, embracing the same radical policies despite evidence of harm to their own communities.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is preparing a massive nationwide deportation push to remove criminal illegals, with a focus on sanctuary states and cities that defy federal law. The administration argues that these deportations are necessary to restore public safety and uphold the rule of law, not only for the sake of American citizens but for the integrity of the immigration system itself.

As sanctuary politicians continue to resist, the stakes are rising for cities that would rather play ideological games than protect their residents. The new data is a wake-up call to voters who care about public safety, borders, and the right to live without fear of crime fueled by failed immigration policies.

The bottom line is clear: these sanctuary policies are not compassionate—they are dangerous, and the numbers don’t lie. The Trump administration’s commitment to cracking down on these reckless practices may prove to be the last line of defense for communities across America.
