U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Arizona, tore into U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Ur Jaddou for what can only be described as bureaucratic clownery. Her agency is out here approving illegal border crossers to act as sponsors for—you guessed it—other illegal border crossers.

At a Judiciary subcommittee hearing, Biggs laid out the fraud buffet: Sponsors for this program were committing Social Security fraud, phone number fraud, and even address fraud. And what’s the USCIS response? A collective shrug because Jaddou “didn’t have the report in front of her.” Oh, how convenient!

The program, dreamt up by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, flies in inadmissible citizens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela through the CHNV parole program. Using a CBP One app (a phone app for immigration, seriously?), they apply for entry, get their “supporters” to vouch for them, and voilà—they’re released into the U.S. Sounds airtight, right? Nope. According to the Office of Inspector General, thousands of these applications were stuffed with fraudulent info.

• 3,200 applications used the same Social Security number.
• 3,300 had the same phone number.
• 2,000 shared the same email address.

It gets better (or worse): Nearly 20,000 applications listed the same physical address. Who knew so many people were crammed into one house?

Biggs hammered Jaddou with questions about this fraud-palooza. Her response? No denial, just a weak, “I don’t have the report.” Classic.

Want more? How about 184 identical-word-for-word responses used on 1,800 applications? Or 460 nonexistent zip codes showing up? It’s like a Mad Libs version of immigration policy, except it’s real life and has actual consequences.

Oh, and let’s not forget the highlight: USCIS approved 224 illegal immigrants already in the U.S. to sponsor others entering illegally.

Even after temporarily suspending the program in August, nothing was fixed. Fraud is still running wild. Meanwhile, DHS continues flying in more inadmissible aliens—1.6 million of them are waiting for travel authorizations, with flights coming through 50 airports worldwide.

House Republicans are citing this disaster as one of many reasons to remove Mayorkas. And honestly, can you blame them? The CHNV program has already processed and released more than 850,000 individuals via the CBP One App. That’s in addition to 531,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans through CHNV parole.

Under the Biden administration, over three million illegal border crossers from CHNV countries alone have entered the U.S. Oh, and some have already been linked to violent crimes against Americans. Fantastic.

This is no longer a border crisis—it’s a full-blown farce. If anyone’s still wondering why border security is such a hot-button issue, here’s your answer on a silver platter.
